LFP Media, the commercial arm of French club soccer’s governing body, has agreed new broadcast deals in several international markets for the 2025-26 season.

Agreements for the top-flight Ligue 1 have been struck in territories covering Europe, Asia, and North America.

Those deals include Fox Sports in Mexico, BeIN Sports in Hong Kong, Mono (Thailand), VTVcab (Vietnam), Pro TV/Voyo (Romania), and PBS (Malta).

This adds to a recent tie-up in Italy with pay-TV giant Sky Italia, which marks a return in the market this season after a one-year absence.

In total, Ligue 1 will be available this season in 215 territories around the world, via a network of 50 broadcast partners.

Meanwhile, the new Ligue 1+ direct-to-consumer (DTC) platform, which recently launched in France and shows the bulk of games domestically, is continuing to be rolled out in global markets.

Already active in the United Kingdom and Ireland, it will soon be available in Italy.

China also remains a priority market for the LFP, and a new rights deal has been agreed in the country for the second-tier Ligue 2.

This season, four matches per day will be available on the CY Sports channel through the Douyin and Kuaishou platforms.

Ligue 1 is shown in China on state broadcaster CCTV, which airs four matches per day, and streaming service Migu, which offers all matches.

Currently, the Infront agency manages the international media rights to Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 in several territories across Europe, Asia, and Oceania, for five years between 2024-25 and 2028-29.

The LFP has had well-documented issues with its domestic media rights after global sports streaming service DAZN terminated its five-year contract (signed last year) after just one season, leading to the launch of Ligue 1+.

The 2025-26 Ligue 1 season got underway on August 15, while Ligue 2 began on August 9. The marquee top-flight match this weekend will see Lyon face Marseille on Sunday.
