
The Starzplay streaming platform has renewed its exclusive broadcast rights deal for Italian soccer’s Serie A in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) for another three seasons.
Serie A matches will continue to be available live and on demand with dual-language commentary in Arabic and English, complemented by match replays, highlight packages, and analysis.

The new agreement runs through the 2027-28 season and was concluded just before the start of the new campaign, which began on August 23.
The extended rights deal is valued at €28 million ($32.6 million) for the three-year cycle.
In recent seasons, Serie A was also shown in the MENA region by media and entertainment organization, Abu Dhabi Media.
Starzplay has held rights to the league since the 2022-23 season.

The OTT platform’s sports offering also includes the AFC Asian Cup, mixed martial arts’ UFC and PFL, and professional golf.
Earlier this month, CazeTV, the Brazilian sports streaming platform run by the LiveMode agency alongside streamer Casimiro Miguel, added Serie A to its portfolio of major European soccer leagues.
Meanwhile, global sports streaming service DAZN picked up rights in several international markets, including the UK and the US.
DAZN also shows the league domestically in Italy along with pay-TV broadcaster Sky Italia.
