Quilter, the UK-based wealth management platform, has struck a deal to become the inaugural title sponsor of international rugby union's Autumn Nations Series, in which Northern Hemisphere men's teams host rest-of-the-world rivals.

From this year's Autumn Nations Series onwards, the series will be renamed the Quilter Nations Series, in a deal struck by the firm with the Six Nations Rugby organizing body.

Six Nations Ltd runs the Autumn Nations Series, with this year's visiting teams set to include Southern Hemisphere heavyweights New Zealand, South Africa, and Australia, as well as emerging sides such as the US, Japan, and Fiji.

While London-based Quilter (formerly called Old Mutual Wealth) did previously sponsor England's Autumn Nations Series fixtures between 2016 and 2022, this tie-up significantly expands on that – Quilter has been made the first-ever title partner of the series.

This year's run of matches begins on November 1, with old rivals England and Australia facing off at Twickenham Stadium (renamed Allianz Stadium for sponsorship purposes) in London.

In total, there will be 22 fixtures across November, staged across England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Italy, and France (the six constituent members of the annual Six Nations Championship, held early in the year).

Tom Harrison, chief executive at Six Nations Rugby, said: "Record attendances in 2024, matched with broadcast coverage that took the game to new levels on screen and hooked audiences, all serves to highlight the power of the Quilter Nations Series to engage global fans.”

The title sponsor of both men's and women's Six Nations competitions, through a multi-year deal, is renowned beer brand Guinness. The tie-up covering the men's series is reportedly worth almost $19 million annually.

Other Six Nations partners include Breitling and Sage.
