Scottish Rugby is delighted to announce that The Royal Bank of Scotland will be the title sponsor of Scotland’s match against Ireland at Murrayfield next Saturday (6 September, kick off 1.30pm)
The Royal Bank of Scotland has a long history of backing Scottish rugby having sponsored matches at Murrayfield for 16 years prior to 1998. Saturday’s game will officially be called: The RBS Scotland v Ireland Countdown Test.
David James, SRU sponsorship manager, said: ‘We are delighted that the RBS has decided to sponsor this important game. This will be the last chance that both teams of players have to book a place on the plane to Australia and we hope that this added interest will ensure that a big crowd come along to watch. The Royal Bank of Scotland has been a wonderful supporter of the game for many years and we are delighted that they have taken this opportunity to further their association with Scotland on the back of their title sponsorship of the RBS 6 Nations Championship.’
Tickets to the RBS Scotland v Ireland countdown test are available from the SRU ticket centre at Murrayfield Stadium, online at www.scottishrugby.org or from the hotline 0870 040 1925 (please note, a booking fee may apply) priced from only £10 for adults and £5 for U18s and students.
