Snowsport GB Announce Directski.com as New Sponsor

Snowsport GB, the UK governing body for Ski and Snowboarding, announce a new sponsorship agreement with online tour operator Directski.com for the British Ski Team.

The agreement, which will initially be for a period of one year with an option to extend for a further two years, will give Directski.com branding on all team apparel including the race suit. In addition to becoming ‘Official sponsors to the British Ski Team’, Directski.com will become the ‘Official tour operator of the British Championships 2006’, held in Meribel, France.

Commenting on the sponsorship agreement, Jason Cockburn, Chief Executive of Snowsport GB states:

‘I am delighted to welcome back Directski.com as a major sponsor to the British Ski Team and am looking forward to working with  them over the coming season and forging a long term relationship with the company as they continue to show impressive growth in the UK travel market’.

Anthony Collins, Chief Executive of Directski.com states

‘We feel honoured to be working with Snowsport GB again for the coming season. As keen skiers ourselves, we believe sponsoring the British Ski Team was a natural move and one that we are delighted to be part of. We would like to wish the British athletes every success on the road to the 2006 Turin Olympics’

The value of the sponsorship deal is undisclosed.
