Worawi Makudi (President of the Thailand FA and FIFA Executive Committee member) has given his backing to July’s inaugural Soccerex Asian Forum (July 28-29, Singapore) by confirming he will take part in the two-day conference programme. The eagerly anticipated Forum in Singapore has received endorsement from the highest echelons of Asian football with Mohamed bin Hammam and Worawi Makudi lending their support.

Bryan Robson, Thailand Manager and Soccerex Global Ambassador revealed; “Worawi Makudi and I will be part of a senior Thailand FA delegation attending Soccerex’s Asian Forum. We look forward to discussing the development of the Thai football industry with Soccerex’s global selection of delegates”.

Worawi Makudi was elected as the President of the Football Association of Thailand in 2007 and is a leading figure in the Asian football market. Previously he has served Thailand’s national association as the General Secretary.

The Soccerex Asian Forum will provide the necessary platform for the European and Asian football business communities to forge vital commercial links. This has already been recognised by clubs such as Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool who have all reserved their passes.
