Lausanne, Switzerland, June 18, 2012 – Lausanne, the Olympic Capital will be celebrating the Olympic Family at the occasion of the Games of the XXX Olympiad in London with a reception on August 08, 2012 at the London Museum. International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Rogge will be in attendance as the Guest of Honour.
More than 50 international sports organisations are based in the City and the surrounding region of Vaud, truly making Lausanne the home of international sport. On the occasion of each Olympic Games, the Olympic Capital hosts a grand celebration in the host city, bridging the Olympic Capital and Olympic Host in a unique way.
