Panasonic believes its brand aligns with the values of the player.

Osaka recently withdrew from the French Open citing mental health reasons amid a dispute over her decision not to partake in press conferences at the event, and has since announced she will not be playing in the upcoming Wimbledon tournament.

However, it is understood she will compete at the Tokyo Olympics, which are scheduled for 23 July to 8 August.
