LIV Golf, the organizer of the Saudi-backed men’s tour, has launched a new streaming service that will house live and on-demand content from its competitions.
LIV Golf Plus will broadcast the inaugural season of the newly introduced two-tier LIV Golf League, beginning with the opening event of the 2023 season, LIV Golf Mayakoba, which begins today (February 24) and runs until Sunday (February 26) at El Camaleón Golf Course in Mexico.
The service is available in over 180 territories around the world, with live and on-demand coverage available where other broadcast or live-streaming options are not currently available.
In the US, for example, LIV recently agreed a multi-year US rights deal with CW Network, which will see all 14 events in 2023 aired nationally on the commercial broadcaster’s linear channels and streaming app.
Broadcasts on LIV Golf Plus, meanwhile, will continue to be produced in-house and will feature the series’ team of Arlo White, David Feherty, Jerry Foltz, Su-Ann Heng, Dom Boulet, and Troy Mullins.
The service is available on platforms including iOS, Android, Apple TV, and FireTV, as well as on the web at livgolfplus.com.

Will Staeger, chief media officer at LIV Golf, said: “The introduction of the LIV Golf Plus streaming app ensures fans around the world will receive direct access to live and on-demand coverage of our league’s groundbreaking launch.
"In keeping with the content distribution strategy of other major sports leagues, the LIV Golf Plus streaming app allows more access to our content from more places for more people, spanning the traditional golf consumer to the casual sports and entertainment viewer discovering golf for the first time.
“We are thrilled to bring our innovative coverage of the game’s biggest stars including Cam Smith, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Phil Mickelson to the sport’s global fanbase and are excited to grow our content offering on LIV Golf Plus in the coming seasons to drive deeper connections between viewers and our athletes in every corner of the world.”
The launch of LIV Golf Plus follows the announcement earlier this week (February 22) that LIV has secured its first global sponsor after striking a one-year agreement with US-based logistics and software company EasyPost.
