World heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua will face Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 25 September, promoter Matchroom Boxing has announced.

Briton Joshua had been set to fight UK rival Tyson Fury in a highly anticipated bout in Saudi Arabia this August.

However, an arbitration hearing in the US ruled that Fury must first face the American Deontay Wilder in the third of their meetings as part of a contractual rematch clause.

Joshua will be defending his IBF, WBA, WBO and IBO world titles against Usyk.

The fight will be broadcast live on a pay-per-view basis in the UK on Sky Sports Box Office.
