FMA issues ball supply and apparel sponsor tenders for AFC competitions
Football Marketing Asia, the agency that sells commercial rights on behalf of the Asian Football Confederation, today launched the tender process to find match ball suppliers and apparel sponsors for club and national team tournaments.
The request for proposal covers the official match ball and apparel and accessories categories for the 2022 to 2024 cycle.
The submission deadline is 30 October and any company wishing to participate or send responses is directed to contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
FMA, or DDMC Fortis as it was previously known, holds commercial rights to the AFC until 2028.
Last year, it appointed Turnstile, the sponsorship-pricing platform, to support its commercial programme. Turnstile has been valuing sponsorship packages covering the AFC Asian Cup, AFC Asian Champions League, the AFC qualification competition for the Fifa World Cup 2022 in Qatar, AFC Women’s Asian Cup and AFC Youth Championships.
The showpiece tournament in the first rights cycle of the FMA contract, from 2021 to 2024, is the 2023 Asian Cup in China.
