Infront and Minute.ly form joint venture to take technology to clients
Infront, the international sports marketing agency, and Minute.ly, a nascent video enhancement firm, have launched a joint venture.
This comes after Infront participated in the Israel-based firm’s Series A funding round last year.
According to a statement, Infront will "sell Minute.ly's technology as part of their offering to perspective and existing customers in Europe and the US."
The partnership will focus on providing the rights holders serviced by Infront with Minute.ly video technology.
Minute.ly uses Artificial Intelligence technology to analyse video content, identifying the highlights from any video clip to create ‘teasers’ that can be targeted at specific audiences.
Christian Mueller, vice-president of strategy and business development at Infront, said: “This technology will allow current and future clients to reach more fans around the world, optimising marketing efforts in an efficient and reliable way to generate new revenue streams.”
Amit Golan, chief executive and co-founder of Minute.ly, added: “This investment will enable us to continue to develop and scale our technology… helping bring more publishers and content creators into the video age.”
