The ACB, the organiser of the top Spanish basketball league, has partnered with Toyota, the Japanese car giant, for all of its competitions.
Under a deal that was set to be announced today, the brand will support the top-tier Liga Endesa, Copa del Rey, Supercopa de Espana and Minicopa.
Toyota is replacing Kia whose sponsorship of the ACB ended on 30 June. The Korean car maker had been the longest-running partner of the league, with a relationship dating back to 2010.
Full details of the partnership have not been disclosed, but it is understood that Toyota will receive extensive brand visibility.
The company already has a strong presence in Spanish sport, boasting deals with the COE, the national Olympic committee, the national badminton federation and the national cycling federation.
The ACB recently renewed its deal with main deal with Endesa, the Spanish energy company, with the brand to remain the title sponsor of the league, the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa until the end of the 2023-24 season.
