The Professional Fighters League, the USA-based mixed martial arts series, has agreed a new sponsorship deal with BetMGM, the sports betting joint venture between MGM Resorts International and gambling firm GVC Holdings.

The tie-up will see BetMGM serve as a US authorised gaming operator of the PFL.

PFL fans in the US will be able to place bets on fight lines on BetMGM, starting with today's PFL 4 in Atlantic City.

BetMGM joins DraftKings, Presidente, Geico, Sosios.com, Acronis, Rice Energy and Air Force Reserve among partners of the league.

BetMGM's deal includes rights to PFL logos and marks, and VIP events, and conduct promotions for the betting operator's customers.

BetMGM already has official partnerships with the likes of golf's PGA Tour, motor racing's Nascar and various teams from the top North American leagues.
