South Pacific Games Council Meeting

The next meeting of the South Pacific Games Council will be held on Norfolk Island December 4 – 6th 2000.

The meetings are scheduled to begin at 10.00am on the 4th and will be followed later in the day by a tour of the venues for the South Pacific Mini Games which will be hosted by Norfolk Island from 1st – 11th December 2001.

Several important issues are listed on the agenda for the Council meeting and include:

* eligibility issues in Football

* possibility of change of name of the Games

* Review of sports on the programme for the South Pacific Games in Suva 2003.

* Selection of the host for the 2005 South Pacific Mini Games
