Following complaints received from the Ice Hockey Players Association and others, a preliminary investigation has been carried out to discover the reason for alleged non-payment of monies due to players of the Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey Club.

As a consequence of that preliminary investigation ISL has today placed an embargo upon that Club of any transfer or registration until all outstanding payments to players are made, in accordance with ISL Playing Rules.

In addition, ISL will continue its investigation into the circumstances of the non-payments following which consideration will be given to taking further action.
