FIGHT SPORTS has secured Live rights to two of the biggest events in both Championship Boxing and MMA back-to-back weekends, beginning with HBO's Championship Boxing featuring the Light Heavyweight World Championship rematch between Andre Ward and Sergey Kovalev on June 17 followed by Bellator MMA NYC featuring Chael Sonnen vs. Wanderlei Silva, as well as MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko taking on Matt Mitrione  on June 24.

Ward vs. Kovalev II is a rematch from their first fight last November, which went the distance with Andre Ward winning a highly-contested unanimous decision.  Despite the victory, Ward hit the canvas in the second round and many believed Kovalev did enough to win the decision.  Both fighters look to win this bout earlier than the final bell, in front of over 12,000+ fans at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Then, on June 24th Bellator hosts an MMA event in New York City for the first time, with the ‘World’s Most Famous Arena’ Madison Square Garden showcasing some of the biggest names in MMA history.  In addition to the Sonnen vs. Silva and Fedor vs. Mitrione bouts, the Light Heavyweight Championship is also on the line as Phil Davis faces Ryan Bader.

FIGHT SPORTS continues to broadcast the best in the sport with hand selected World Championship fights each weekend throughout Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean.
