Betfred, the UK-based betting company, has secured title sponsorship of the upcoming heavyweight fight between Tyson Fury and fellow British boxer Derek Chisora on December 3.

Announced in October, the bout will be held at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, home of the English Premier League soccer team, and will be the pair’s third meeting after Fury beat Chisora in 2011 and 2014.

On the same bill, Britain’s WBA regular world champion Daniel Dubois will defend his belt against South Africa’s Kevin Lerena.

Pay-television operator BT will air the event live on its pay-per-view box office in the UK and Ireland, while sports broadcasting giant ESPN will show the action in the US.

UK-based commercial radio broadcaster TalkSport, meanwhile, holds the audio coverage rights in the UK and Ireland for the bout.

The fight was organized by Fury’s promoter Frank Warren after negotiations for a domestic showdown with Anthony Joshua collapsed.

Warren has said Fury still plans to take on Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk, who beat Joshua earlier this year, in a unification fight early next year.

The fight next month comes after much speculation surrounding Fury’s plans since his last fight back in April.

After defeating Dillan Whyte, the 34-year-old said he was retiring from boxing, teasing potential exhibition fights with Hafthor Bjornsson and Francis Ngannou. However, he decided to unretire to call for a fight with Chisora before announcing his retirement again.

He unretired for the second time to demand a match with Usyk following the Ukrainian’s win against Joshua but was told it would not be possible until next year.

Fury then began negotiations for a bout against Joshua, but the respective teams could not agree terms.

Talks remain ongoing for Fury to face Usyk in February in the Middle East.
