STN Video, the Canada-based media company, achieved a 55% increase in viewership for basketball’s NBA playoffs.

The digital platform generated nearly 62 million video views across official NBA content between April 16 and June 30 covering all playoff rounds and the finals.

STN also claimed it “helped provide revenue opportunities to publishers” with almost 80% more impressions delivered than last year.

The company’s viewership numbers come after the NBA announced it reached 21% more viewers and achieved 32% more branded searches for the 2022 NBA Finals than last year.

STN Video publishers had access to official NBA highlights, recaps, analysis, top plays, and more directly from STN.

Over 45 million of those plays were delivered via STN’s Smart Match player, which uses AI to read a publisher’s article and instantly embed the most relevant video.
