SportsGrid, the sports betting content provider, has struck an agreement with international news agency Associated Press (AP) that will see content from its SportsGrid Network available to AP clients.

Under the deal, SportsGrid Network’s daily sports betting video content across multiple competitions will be available for digital publishers, news portals, and broadcasters via the AP Video Hub and Newsroom platforms.

SportsGrid Network offers real-time sports news, data, analytics, and statistics, along with odds, matchups, and injury reports from major North American leagues such as basketball’s NBA, American football’s NFL, Major League Baseball, and ice hockey’s NHL, as well as collegiate-level events, golf, tennis, and soccer.

The network’s content is informed by data sourced from Sportradar, the international sports data intelligence, and digital content service, with the two having partnered at the network’s launch in 2019.

In a statement, SportsGrid said: “The SportsGrid video content amplifies and compliments new publisher’s on-demand sports websites and apps creating pre-roll ads and sponsorship opportunities.”

The new deal will see SportsGrid expand the reach of its coverage through AP’s content, which is widely published.
