Telenot extends sponsorship of FIS World Cup events for third season
FIS, the international ski federation, has agreed a renewed sponsorship deal with Telenot, the electronic security company, for selected alpine skiing and ski jumping World Cup events.
Under a one-year agreement brokered by international sports marketing agency Infront, which has partnerships with multiple national ski federations, Telenot branding will be visible at 22 alpine skiing and two ski jumping World Cups across Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden over five months.
It is the third year in a row the company will sponsor skiing events with its presence to “gradually expand” for the 2020-21 season.
Telenot’s logo will feature in the start and finish area, and on the course, at the competitions. It will also appear on the start numbers of all athletes for five races and benefit from exposure both in FIS print and online materials.
Matthias Pietza, director of winter sport at Infront Germany, said: "We are delighted to be entering a third skiing season together with Telenot. Winter sports celebrates extensive live broadcast coverage on public television and has broad exposure not only across Austria, Germany and Switzerland but also beyond. Telenot recognised this potential in 2018 and has established itself as a strong and loyal partner to skiing."
Thomas Taferner, Telenot head of strategic sales and marketing, added: "Telenot’s presence at FIS events over the last two years has been consistently positive. We were able to significantly increase awareness of the Telenot brand and the number of hits on our homepage has increased thanks to this sponsorship. "
