SportsGrid Network launches on Sling TV in USA
SportsGrid, the sports betting content provider, has launched its SportsGrid Network channel on US-based over-the-top streaming service Sling TV.
SportGrid Network, a free-to-air 24-hour sports betting network, said to be the first of its kind, was launched last year in partnership with international sports data and digital content firm Sportradar.
The network’s real-time coverage includes odds, matchups, injury reports and news from major North American leagues such as American football’s NFL, basketball’s NBA, baseball’s MLB and ice hockey’s NHL, as well as college sports, tennis, golf and soccer.
The new channel will be available on Sling Free, the free content line up on Sling TV that does not require a subscription or credit card, and will feature live and original programming with expert analysis and interviews with sports analysts.
Louis Maione, founder and president of SportsGrid, said: “We’re excited to expand the distribution of SportsGrid to reach the Sling TV audience and deliver the most compelling sports wagering programming in the country with outstanding talent, including Pat McAfee, Scott Ferrall, Gabe Morency and many others.
“Sling TV viewers can depend on SportsGrid’s commitment to reporting the sporting gaming news along with insightful analysis and commentary to make their wagering decisions.”
In May SportsGrid partnered with sports video content distributor SendtoNews.
Under the deal, SportsGrid produces daily sports betting video-on-demand content and related articles to be distributed using SendtoNews’ AI-powered video player.
