AMB deals with IMG for Premier League rights in the Baltics
All Media Baltics, the regional broadcaster, has retained exclusive rights in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to English soccer's Premier League in the new three-year cycle.
AMB will show more than 200 matches per season between 2019-20 and 2021-22 across its TVPlay Sports and TVPlay Sports + channels and the TVPlay Premium streaming platform.
There will be local language commentary in each of the three countries.
Christian Anting, AMB chief executive, said: “Premier League continues to be the most popular domestic football league in the world. The recent successes of the best English teams in European club competitions underlines the quality and attractivity of Premier League.
"We are delighted to entering into this new partnership with the Premier League and we look forward to providing football fans in the Baltic countries a unique viewer experience across all platforms.”
AMB was previously part of Scandinavia's Modern Times Group, but was sold to Providence Equity Partners in 2017.
Premier League rights in the Baltics are distributed by the IMG agency, which last November renewed its contract for the next three seasons in a deal that also included the Balkans and Central Asia.
