TalkSport lands UK radio rights to Fifa Women's World Cup
TalkSport, the UK-based radio sports broadcaster, has landed domestic rights to the 2019 Fifa Women’s World Cup, which starts in France next month.
The network will provide live coverage of every England and Scotland fixture, plus the opening game, both semi-finals and the final.
Commentaries will be split between the main TalkSport and TalkSport 2 stations, and complemented by build-up and analysis.
Live radio coverage World Cup is also being provided by the BBC, the UK's public-service broadcaster, as part of its comprehensive deal, also covering live TV and online rights, agreed back in 2017.
England and Scotland have been drawn in the same group at the Women's World Cup, which runs from 7 June to 7 July.
