Minsk 2019 ticket sales exceed 10,000 in first week
More than 10,000 tickets have been sold in four days for the 2019 European Games in Minsk, Belarus, the local organising committee has announced.
The ticket sales process, being run by international ticketing services provider Ticketpro, began on 1 December.
Minsk 2019 said athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, road cycling and the opening and closing ceremonies are attracting the highest demand.
For the opening ceremony, ticket prices range from Br150 ($70) to Br300, double the price range for the closing ceremony.
For the sports competitions, the cheapest ticket price is Br5, going up to Br50.
Tickets can be purchased via www.minsk2019.ticketpro.by.
Earlier this year, Anatoly Kotov, deputy director of the 2019 European Games, said he expects around 800,000 tickets to be made available for the games, which run from 21 to 30 June.
