Slovenian ice hockey player is third failed drugs test in PyeongChang
Slovenian ice hockey player Ziga Jeglic has become the third athlete to fail a doping test at the PyeongChang winter Olympics.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport said today that Jeglic had tested positive for fenoterol, a drug designed to open the airways to the lungs, in an in-competition test.
Jeglic has been suspended from the games and has been ordered to leave the athletes village within 24 hours. He was removed from the squad just prior to Slovenia's qualification play-off against Norway today.
Japanese short-track speedskater Kei Saito failed a pre-competition test in PyeongChang and Olympic Athlete from Russia curler Alexander Krushelnitsky, who won a bronze medal, tested positive during the games.
