Lagardère Plus Germany managing director steps down
Claudia Reuter, managing director in Germany at Lagardère Plus, the brand consulting division of Lagardère, the media giant heavily involved in sports marketing, is stepping down from her post.
The 44-year-old Reuter (pictured, below) will leave Lagardère Plus at the end of this month, having served as a managing director alongside Olaf Bauer.
She joined Zaechel, the Berlin-based agency that offers hospitality and event management services, in 1998 and rose to the role of chief operating officer, on the way having a spell heading the company’s business in South Africa.
In 2016, Lagardère merged the company with akzio! and ajoint, the German sponsorship consultancies, into one business and Reuter was named as part of a new consolidated management board. The companies were then rebranded following the launch of Lagardère Plus in October last year.
Lagardère Plus recently made a new appointment in Germany, recruiting Fabian Ziemer as director of client management. He joined from TDS Tennis Deutschland Service, a service company of the German tennis federation.
