Raiffeisen returns to EHF Euro for 2018 edition
Raiffeisen Bank International has signed up as a top-tier official sponsor of handball’s Men’s EHF Euro 2018, the European championships, which take place in Croatia early next year.
Under the deal with Infront Sports & Media, the international sports agency that is the exclusive media and marketing partner of the European Handball Federation, Raiffeisen, which is based in Austria, will receive prominent branding at the matches.
This will include floor stickers on the courts and advertising on all LED boards, including new ones behind the goals that will ensure greater visibility for sponsors.
Raiffeisen will also receive significant exposure on digital platforms related to the EHF Euro 2018, with its social media manager to join the EHF-Infront editorial team on-site for the 16-team tournament, which runs from 12 to 28 January.
The deal marks the return of the bank to the EHF Euro as it previously sponsored the event in 2012, when it was held in Serbia.
The other official sponsors in place for the 2018 edition are Grundfos, Intersport, Gorenje and Englebert Strauss.
