Australian Open adds Rockpool to restaurant line-up
Rockpool Dining Group, an Australian restaurant company, has signed up to be a restaurant supplier at next year’s Australian Open, one of tennis’ four ‘grand slams.’
Under the deal, Rockpool Dining Group becomes one of the official restaurants of the 2018 Australian Open, which is taking place in Melbourne from 15 to 28 January.
Neil Perry, Rockpool Dining Group’s director of culinary and brands, commented: “We are looking forward to putting the Rockpool Dining Group stamp on the Australian Open, by showcasing the best of Australia’s home-grown produce and delivering it with our trademark attention to detail.”
Rockpool joins the Australian Open’s hospitality offering, which includes boxes, private dining rooms and three fine dining restaurants.
The Australian Open’s sponsors include Kia, the Korean car brand, ANZ, the Australian and New Zealand financial services company, and Jacob’s Creek the Australian wine brand.
