Ooyala brings in Huberman as new CEO
Ooyala, the online video technology services company, has named Jonathan Huberman as its new chief executive.
Huberman, who took up the role earlier this week, will be based in Ooyala’s offices in Santa Clara, California.
He replaces Issac Vaughn, who had served as acting chief executive after Ramesh Srinivasan left the company last November.
Hubermann joins Ooyala from USA-based IT services company Syncplicity, where he had been chief executive officer since July 2015, and venture capital firm Skyview Capital, where he had been president, portfolio operations since February 2015.
Prior to that, Huberman was chief executive officer of public safety software company Tiburon, from 2013 to 2015, and managing director of private equity firm the Gores Group, between 2012 and 2013.
Ooyala’s clients include English soccer’s Premier League and women’s tennis’ WTA.
