Waller Is New Managing Director of Octagon Motorsports

London, UK; 27 March 2003:- Octagon Motorsports UK confirmed today that Andrew Waller has been appointed Managing Director with immediate effect. Waller will replace interim Managing Director, Michael Browning, who will remain as a consultant to the division.
Waller joined Octagon Motorsports UK in December of last year in the role of Group Sales and Marketing Director. His appointment was part of a strategy to position a permanent successor for the role of Managing Director.
Waller has over twenty five years experience in sales and marketing and was previously Managing Director for the Walt Disney Travel Company UK where he was responsible for driving new business and launching Disney’s outbound tour operation to support Walt Disney World in Florida. Waller has also held a number of senior sales and marketing positions with a number of large, ‘blue-chip’ companies including British Airways, Norwegian Cruise Line and Hertz UK.
Michael Browning, having now found a successor, will continue as a consultant to the business overseeing implementation of the Silverstone masterplan.
