USA Hockey Renews Official Licensing Agreement

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- USA Hockey today announced the renewal of an official licensing agreement with New Era Cap Co., Inc., the industry's premier global headwear designer, developer and manufacturer.

The announcement was made by USA Hockey Executive Director Doug Palazzari (Colorado Springs, Colo.), Marketing Council Chairperson Larry Reid (Rumford, R.I.), and Senior Director, Corporate Affairs & Fundraising Mike Bertsch (Colorado Springs, Colo.).

New Era Cap Company, based in Derby, N.Y., will produce fitted and adjustable baseball-style caps in 100 percent wool and wool-blend fabrics, along with cotton and cotton twill, and knit touques for USA Hockey, featuring the organization's brand.

The agreement names New Era Cap as the Official Licensee of USA Hockey and USA Hockey InLine, the Official Headwear Provider for USA Hockey InLine programs and events, as well as the Official Hat for USA Hockey and USA Hockey InLine Coaching and Officiating Education Programs.

'As an organization we are very pleased to confirm the renewal of our licensing agreement with New Era Cap,' said Bertsch. 'New Era Cap is a leader in its field, and we look forward to offering our grassroots members and fans across the country their wide selection of USA Hockey headwear.'

New Era Cap is also the Official Locker-room/Event Hat Provider to the USA Hockey Tier II Junior A and Junior B National Championships, and the Official Headwear Provider to the USA Hockey Select Festivals.

On the retail side, New Era Cap will serve as the exclusive provider of the Official Fan Hat of the U.S. Women's National Team tour.

The agreement extends through the territory of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, Canada, and those territories and possessions of the United States, excluding American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
