SPORTELAsia 2006 Moving To Shanghai!
Following on the heels of a highly successful SPORTELAsia 2005, Mr. Tomatis said, “The Asian region in general and China in particular continue to be focal points for innovation and expansion in the international sports television industry. The move to Shanghai next year will allow us to maintain our pricing structure while offering our clients a spacious exhibition venue and first-class accommodations.”
Continuing, Mr. Tomatis commented, “Shanghai has become a major center for trade and business and surely will attract many new participants, both from within China itself and from the entire Asian region. Of course, this Asian presence, coupled with our loyal clientele from the rest of the world will ensure that SPORTELAsia 2006 will be a truly global event, as are all of our international markets.”
Located in the financial heart of Shanghai, the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel is prominently situated along the famous Huangpu River, with breathtaking views of Shanghai's legendary riverfront, the historic Bund and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
SPORTELAsia 2006 will take place March 20 – 22, 2006.
SPORTEL markets are the only events to feature such a diversity of companies involved in all aspects of televised sports, including broadcasters, cable and satellite services, sports marketing agencies, professional leagues, international sports federations, rights holders, sponsors, advertisers, facilities, hardware, software and technology providers, event organizers, producers, international press and new media from around the world.
The SPORTEL Organisation's next event will be SPORTELMonaco 2005, October 24-27, 2005 at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
