Australian Motor Sport Elects New President

The Board of CAMS, the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Limited, in a meeting yesterday unanimously appointed Mr. Colin Osborne as President. Mr Osborne has been a member of the Board or National Council for ten years and was Vice President for some time before becoming acting President this year.
He has been an active participant in motor sport since 1978, starting at club level before moving up to President or Vice President of the NSW Holden Car Club from 1980 through 1991 and then to the NSW State Council of CAMS in 1984. He has also been the owner and operator of a two car Australian Production Car Championship team since 1991.
The General Manager of a major metropolitan hospital, Mr Osborne clearly brings management skills together with an abiding dedication to motor sport and extensive experience of the structure and workings of the organisation.
