Motor Sport Business Forum Achieves 100% Growth
Event director Simon Berger commented: “It was always important that we take the Forum to the next level this year and I think we will achieve that. I am delighted with the huge interest we’ve received from delegates and exhibitors. I’m also extremely pleased with the high quality of the conference programme, which now reads like a who’s who of the major players in motor sport. It proves that the Forum has become the must-attend event for the motor sport industry.”
The exhibition area has more than doubled in size from last year and is now 95 per cent booked. It will be teeming with exhibitors from the top echelons of motor sport.
With Spyker MF1’s team principal Colin Kolles participating in the conference programme, the team will also display this season’s Spyker MF1 M16-03 car. Other exhibitors include the Bahrain International Circuit, Circuit de Catalunya, FIA Institute, Edmiston Yachts, Haymarket, Breitling, Aviaxess, and the Paul Ricard High-Tech Test Track.
The delegate list has also doubled in size from last year with representatives from all of the major championships in motor sport, including Formula One, World Rally Championship, MotoGP, NASCAR, Champ Car, A1 Grand Prix and GP2.
The Forum welcomes an especially strong presence from motor sport’s major sponsors. RenaultF1’s new title sponsor ING, which will be represented on the conference programme by sport sponsorship manager Yoeri Geerits, is just one of the major sponsors participating in and attending the event. Others include Allianz, AMD, Bacardi, Credit Suisse, Diageo, Intel, LVMH, Magneti Marelli, Martini, SAP, TAG Heuer and Total.
A limited number of delegate places are still available. For further information please go to http://www.motorsportbusinessforum.com/ or contact the organisers directly on the numbers below.
The Motor Sport Business Forum is the must-attend event for motor sport’s global commercial community. It offers a unique opportunity to hear about new ideas, discuss sponsorship initiatives, debate current issues, network, and negotiate deals. It is an event that no professional involved in the sport can afford to miss.
This year’s Forum will take place on 6-7 December 2006 to coincide with the FIA Gala Awards Dinner. A number of hotel rooms have been reserved for delegates at Le Meridian Beach Plaza hotel, a short walk from the Grimaldi Forum. These can be booked through the Motor Sport Business Forum’s partner Irvine Motorsport Associates. The hotel will also be the venue for the event’s cocktail reception, hosted by Amber Lounge.
