Land Rover Partners With Fantasy League
This is the second consecutive season that all parties have reached agreement and follows on from a very successful first season. The game is part of a comprehensive media campaign by Land Rover as proud sponsors of England and Premier Rugby.
Land Rover are further offering competition winners a number of prizes such as an exclusive Land Rover Adventure off-road driving weekend, signed England rugby shirts and training days with the England squad. Players are able to set up their own mini-leagues within the game, whilst there is also a Rugby Celebrity League featuring experts for users to compare themselves against.
“We are very happy to again be working with Fantasy League in our activity around the Six Nations,” says Naveen Dayal, National Advertising Manager UK, “Last season proved to be very successful and we had a great understanding and feedback with all of the parties involved. We are looking forward to a thrilling Six Nations tournament and I’m sure that the Land Rover Fantasy Six Nations Game, and the chance to pit your wits against some of the biggest names in the game, as well as having the chance to win some fantastic prizes, will make the tournament even more enjoyable for rugby fans”.
Paul Wright MD of Aura Sports adds, “In sport it is always a great endorsement of how an initiative or a campaign has performed when you run with it for a second consecutive season. Land Rover are one of the UK’s most iconic motoring brands and their place at the heart of the Six Nations is really underlined by their commitment to giving rugby fans something back as part of their marketing process. This agreement demonstrates how third parties, with well though-out and executed campaigns can enrich the user experience”.
The Land Rover Fantasy Six Nations Game will be promoted across a range of websites in the run up to and including during the tournament, including FT.com, the Times, AOL and Tiscali. The initiative will also be supported via advertising in a range of national newspapers.
