ITF Publishes Election Results

The Annual General Meeting of the International Tennis Federation, held in Rio de Janeiro today, 11 September 2003, elected Francesco Ricci Bitti (ITA) for a second four-year term as President of the ITF. Ricci Bitti was not
opposed for re-election.

Elected to the ITF Board of Directors for a two year term were:

Geoff Pollard (AUS), Nelson Nastas (BRA), Alan G. Schwartz (USA), Juan Margets (ESP), Ian King (GBR), Christian Bimes (FRA), Georg von Waldenfels (GER), Mervin A. Heller Jr.(USA), Christine Ungricht (SUI), Jan Carlzon (SWE), Anil Kumar Khanna (IND), Paul Chingoka (ZIM)

Nastas, Schwartz, Ungricht and Khanna are new members of the ITF Board of Directors.

Juan Margets was also re-elected ITF Executive Vice President while David Jude (GBR) was re-elected as Honorary Treasurer of the ITF.
