radio rightsholders, as well as with several International Hockey League (IHL) television rightsholders, for coverage of their respective 1999-2000 seasons, according to Robert Behar, president and chief executive officer of

In addition to new agreements, for the third consecutive year, GlobeCast is providing the NHL with digital distribution of games to rightsholders in Europe. The NHL seasons runs through April 2000, and the IHL season through March 2000.
In 1999, GlobeCast provided transmissions for the majority of television and radio rightsholders of Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association. In addition, GlobeCast supplied Major League Soccer with
production and transmission of a weekly 15-minute highlights package to media outlets coast to coast.
