Globecast Provides Lion's Share of Transmission Services For NHL's TV, Radio, International Rights Holders

MIAMI (October 19, 1999) -- Leading sports transmission provider in America since 1956, GlobeCast announced today that it has signed transmission agreements with the majority of National Hockey League (NHL) television and
radio rightsholders, as well as with several International Hockey League (IHL) television rightsholders, for coverage of their respective 1999-2000 seasons, according to Robert Behar, president and chief executive officer of
GlobeCast America.

GlobeCast is the world's leading supplier of complete end-to-end video and audio production and transmission services. In addition to new agreements, for the third consecutive year, GlobeCast is providing the NHL with digital distribution of games to rightsholders in Europe. The NHL seasons runs through April 2000, and the IHL season through March 2000.

In 1999, GlobeCast provided transmissions for the majority of television and radio rightsholders of Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association. In addition, GlobeCast supplied Major League Soccer with
production and transmission of a weekly 15-minute highlights package to media outlets coast to coast.

In America, GlobeCast operates four international teleports in Los Angeles, New York and Miami, a video control center in Washington DC, and a technical operations center in Salt Lake City.
