Glasgow Continues Tradition!
The delay in announcing the dates of this very popular event, was caused by difficulties in finding a space in the overloaded International Gymnastics Calendar in October.
With World Cup Qualifying events already approved to take place over two consecutive weekends (21-23 October Stuttgart GER and 28-30 October in Maribor SLO), Glasgow have to host the competition, for the first time, in the middle of the week, Tue, 25th and Wed, 26th October, 2005.
Thus, Kelvin Hall is expected to see some of the world’s finest gymnasts once again, this time in preparation for the World Championships in Melbourne, in November 2005.
The event in Glasgow will be the 10th in a row, since 1997, including the World Cup Final in 2000 (held at the Braehead Arena).
More details to follow as soon as they are available.
