Game Five of Gillette Tri-Nations Tournament Sold Out

Rugby league - 09 Nov 2004

Game Five of the Gillette Tri-Nations tournament between Great Britain and Australia is now confirmed as a sell-out.

A capacity crowd of 25,006 will attend the JJB Stadium in Wigan on Saturday 13th November 2004 (ko 6.15pm).

The remaining tickets for this match were sold in the immediate aftermath of Great Britain’s 22-12 victory over New Zealand on Saturday.

If GB beat Australia this weekend they will qualify for the tournament final at Elland Road Stadium in Leeds (Saturday 27th November - ko 6.15pm).

Commenting on this weekend’s sell out, a spokesperson for Rugby League Events said: 'Given that Game Five is now confirmed as a sell out, we are advising all supporters who wish to experience the excitement of the Gillette Tri-Nations tournament to book seats for either Game Six (GB v NZ at Hull’s KC Stadium on Saturday 20th Nov) or for the final itself.

'It is also worth remembering that for any supporters who wish to see the Australian team play live; their only remaining opportunity is now the final of the tournament'.
