Aggreko powers back as a SportAccord Convention silver partner for the seventh year
LAUSANNE, Switzerland – SportAccord Convention is delighted to welcome back Aggreko as a Silver Partner and sponsor of the Aggreko Media Suite at this year’s World Sport & Business Summit taking place from 19-24 April 2015 at the Sochi Expocentre, Sochi, Russia.
Returning for the seventh year, Aggreko plc is the world leader in the supply of temporary power and temperature control solutions and employs over 7,700 people operating from 211 locations.

Aggreko provides power and temperature control solutions to customers who need them either very quickly, or for a short or indeterminate length of time. In the Local business, Aggreko hire equipment to customers, who then operate it for themselves, although Aggreko retain responsibility for servicing and maintaining it. In the Power Projects business, Aggreko operate as a power producer. Aggreko install and operate power plants, and design and manufacture equipment specifically for these requirements, in their factory in Dumbarton, Scotland.
Recent customers include the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, the XX Commonwealth Games, Cirque du Soleil and the power utilities in over 50 countries including the UK, France, Ivory Coast, Mozambique, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Argentina, Venezuela, Chile, Brazil and the USA.
In 2014, Aggreko fulfilled over 55,000 customers’ assignments and of those who responded to the research, 67% gave a recommendation of 9 or 10 out of 10.
