Commercial Director Leaves UK's Rugby Football League
Commercial Director Glenn Baker will be leaving the Rugby Football League at the end of August.
Mr Baker joined the RFL earlier this year but a number of pressing personal issues mean that he will have to return to his home in the South of England.
He said: 'I very much regret having to leave the RFL at this very exciting time in the re-shaping of the sport because there are clear signs that the sport's commercial profile is starting to improve significantly.
'I do, however, have a number of personal circumstances that necessitate me returning to the South Coast.'
Richard Lewis, the RFL's Executive Chairman, said: 'We thank Glenn for his work on behalf of the RFL and believe that it will stand the sport in good stead as we continue to maximise our commercial potential over the coming months and years.'
