CNBC Pacific Asia is Official TV Partner for Clipper Round the World Yacht Races
Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, chairman of Clipper Ventures plc, today announces a partnership with CNBC Asia Pacific for the Clipper Round the World Yacht Races.
CNBC Asia Pacific will act as an official TV partner for the Clipper 2002 event, which sets sail at 14:00 (GMT) from Liverpool's Albert Dock this Sunday, 27 October. Contesting the race will be teams from Hong Kong, New York, London, Liverpool, Bristol, Jersey, Glasgow and Cape Town.
The partnership will see commercial airtime on CNBC for the highly popular Clipper race, as well as a hyperlink from the CNBC Asia website to the official race website. Clipper Ventures will provide access for CNBC to on-board promotion and selected hospitality events in the race's overseas ports.
