Bulls given relief over fixture congestion
The Bulls and their Kiwi stars Henry and Robbie Paul have received a boost ahead of the Challenge Cup final, with the news that Super League have postponed their game at Wigan on April 24 because it would have been just five days before the big day at Murrayfield. That gives the Paul brothers extra time to recover from the rigours of travelling to play for New Zealand in the Anzac Day Test in Australia on April 21. The original fixture schedule would have meant them flying back to play at Wigan three days after the Test Match, and then five days later appearing in the Challenge Cup final.
The Bulls match at Hull on 2nd May is also to be moved to the following day, 3rd May.
There was further good news for the Bulls when the Rugby Football League decided they would take no action against prop Paul Anderson who was placed on report for a high tackle in the last minute of Saturday's 44-20 semi-final win over Warrington Wolves at Headingley. The Wolves' centre Toa Kohe-Love was also cleared.
