Fight Sports Set to Exclusively Broadcast Canelo’s World Title Event in Over Fifty Countries

SEPTEMBER 12, 2016

FIGHT SPORTS will broadcast the Canelo Alvarez vs. Liam Smith event on its 24/7 Network, securing the Exclusive LIVE rights to the Junior Middleweight World Championship Event for rapidly growing footprint around the world.

Coming off a stellar weekend of back to back live fights that included Spike’s Daniel Jacobs vs. Sergio Mora rematch then HBO’s Roman ‘Chocolatito’ Gonzalez vs. Carlos Cuadras, fans are in for a treat with this one.  The event features one of the most popular stars in boxing, and widely considered the sport’s best pound-for-pound fighter, World Champion Canelo Alvarez of Guadalajara, Mexico, squaring off against undefeated World Champion Liam Smith of the UK. The event will take place Live Saturday September 17 from the 100,000+ seat AT&T Stadium in Texas, home to the Dallas Cowboys.  

FIGHT SPORTS will be broadcasting the event throughout several territories in Asia and Europe including Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Spain, Indonesia, and Thailand, to name a few.   FIGHT SPORTS is committed to securing exclusive rights to the highest profile events in the sport.
