A New Level of Exclusiveness in Kaiserslautern – ‘FCK ClubLounge 100’

Soccer - 04 Jul 2007

Kaiserslautern / 4th July 2007 – FC Kaiserslautern is set to offer a new, exclusive VIP facility, created in conjunction with the club’s marketing agency SPORTFIVE. The ‘FCK ClubLounge 100’ will be opening its doors this coming season in the glass tower built for the 2006 World Cup between the main stand and the vibrant Westkurve. “We want to give our guests at Kaiserslautern home games a level of exclusivity they’ve not experienced before,” explains club director Arndt Jaworski. “The FCK ClubLounge 100 is also a step in the right direction in terms of the club’s future financial development. The area will be marketed to new clients by SPORTFIVE, our exclusive marketing agency, who also sell all of our other promotional and hospitality services.”

With its enormous glass façade, the FCK ClubLounge 100 will give guests not only a unique view of the pitch and the spectacular sight of the home fans on the adjoining terrace, but also an impressive panoramic view of the entire town. Other benefits of the new FCK ClubLounge 100 concept include a VIP parking space, a reserved business seat in the main stand, talks and interviews with club officials and players and a cocktail bar. Clients will also be able to use the FCK ClubLounge 100 on non-matchdays for business meetings.

“In creating the FCK ClubLounge 100, we and the club together have developed an exclusive VIP area that is going to set new standards in design, ambience and entertainment. What awaits Kaiserslautern’s guests is a stylish new venue – unmatched anywhere else in the Bundesliga – plus gourmet catering from top-class chef Martin Scharff, a cocktail bar in the lounge area and, of course, lots of exciting games on the Betzenberg pitch,” emphasises Heiko Schelberg, manager of the SPORTFIVE team in Kaiserslautern.

“Work starts on the conversion this week, and even now we’ve already received numerous bookings from clients for the FCK ClubLounge 100,” adds Schelberg.

“The new VIP area is ideal for client meetings and unforgettable staff incentive events. It’s going to be a unique networking vehicle for our clients, where they’ll be able to make valuable contacts and experience great times together game after game,” reports Jaworski.

With its twelve hospitality boxes and 1,000 comfortable business seats in various areas of the ground, the Fritz Walter Stadium offers a broad range of facilities that companies can utilise as an attractive platform for business-to-business entertaining.

Hospitality is an important tool of inter-company communications for client acquisition, fostering good relations and strengthening customer loyalty. “The key to success is above all the relaxed, emotive and yet very exclusive atmosphere in our hospitality boxes and VIP areas, plus the feeling of being very special,” says Schelberg. “The unique combination of business, football and excitement is the recipe for success here – no matter whether we win or lose on the pitch!”
