Wrestling - 07 Oct 2002

World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. has extended its successful TV representation partnership with Total Sports Asia (TSA) to include consumer product licensing, Home Video/DVD, publications and sponsorships across Asia.

WWE㤠and TSA also announced new licensing deals with two leading telecommunications companies: DiGi Telecommunications in Malaysia and MobileOne Asia in Singapore. New Home Video licensing agreements were concluded with JSS Home Video in Japan, and Sendi Mutuara Entertainment Snd Bhd for Indonesia, Taiwan and Malaysia.

'Our expansion in Asia is seeing tremendous growth as a result of our successful Asian SmackDown!㤠Tour and the strength of our television programming in the region,' said Roger Marment, WWE㤠Executive Vice President, International Business Development. 'Extending our business relationship with Total Sports Asia builds on the successful work that they have done for us in the region.'

'WWE㤠already has a significant presence in this region through our programming and live events. We expect that these new licensing agreements will further develop our international business in a way that replicates the successful model that we have developed domestically.'
