Germany tops all three international ranking lists.
The World Minigolf Sport Federation has published the latest World Ranking Lists for international competitions.
Germany is ranked as the world’s number one Minigolfing nation in the Adult General Class, Junior and Senior rankings.
General class male #1 - Filiph Svensson (SWE)
General class female #1 - Anne Bollrich (GER)
Junior male #1 - Philip Lau (GER)
Junior female #1 - Annika Dellmann (GER)
Senior male #1 - Markus Janssen (GER)
Senior female #1 - Gaby Rahmlow (GER)
WMF Sport Director Pasi Aho said "There were some changes in the top positions of the ranking lists after the 2013 international Minigolf championships. There were no big surprises though and Germany has retained its positions as the leading nation in all categories. In the general class we have now two fairly young stars leading the lists. The men’s rankings have been dominated by more experienced players recently, but the trend of young players getting closer to the top has been visible for some years, especially in the female category. It’s worth noting that Gaby Rahmlow leads the senior female’s list with an all-time high points record across all categories having become the first-ever player to take home the jackpot of three gold medals at the 2013 Senior European Minigolf Championships."
The World Minigolf Sport Federation (WMF) is the umbrella organisation of Minigolf sports association's worldwide and continental associations in Asia, Europe and America. There are four Minigolf systems recognised by the WMF – Concrete, Miniaturegolf, Feltgolf and Minigolf Open Standard (MOS).
