Liqui Moly strengthens MotoGP ties with German Grand Prix title sponsorship
Liqui Moly, the German automotive lubricants brand that is a prominent sponsor in motorsport, has today been named as title partner of MotoGP’s German Grand Prix until 2023 to expand its long-standing association with the competition.
The brand will put its name to the event for the next three seasons after an agreement with Dorna Sports, the commercial rights holder to the motorcycling championship.
As part of its sponsorship of the German Grand Prix, the brand will benefit from trackside presence on advertising hoardings at its home event as well as hospitality on site.
The deal further builds on Liqui Moly’s nine-year partnership with MotoGP, which it recently extended for another three years.
The company has been the exclusive lubricant supplier to the Moto2 and Moto3 series since 2015, another agreement which was also recently extended until 2023, and was the title sponsor of the Gran Premio de Teruel Grand Prix in Spain in 2020.
Peter Baumann, Liqui Moly’s marketing director, said this latest deal with MotoGP "will further strengthen our global brand presence."Elsewhere in motorsport, Liqui Moly is also a sponsor of Formula 1 in a deal running to 2022.
