A momentous announcement has been made in connection with the future of the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS). Grandstand Media Limited has confirmed that it has signed a deal with the British Show Jumping Association, the owners of the Show, to extend its current management contract of the event by a further 25 years.

On the eve of this year's event, the organisers of Britain's largest indoor equestrian show announced today their future plans for the event. Grandstand Media Limited, who took up the reins of running Horse of the Year Show in 1997, have confirmed that they have signed a new three year contract with the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, which means that the event will take place at the venue until at least 2006.

Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline, has announced its title sponsorship of this year’s premier endurance event, now named the FEI Emirates Airline Open European Endurance Championships.
